Hi, nice to meet you! I'm Ceph! (Like "Steph" without the "t"). I'm a game engine developer by day and... by night I run the indie studio Prismatic Squid!
Don't ask me how I manage both. I don't know, either.
I really enjoy the technical challenge of working on a game engine, but I missed the creative side of working at a game studio. I have the itch to create, and I'm never one to leave an itch unscratched. Thus, I founded Prismatic Squid!
Everyone says your studio should focus on one genere, but I just can't pick. I like games too much!
I believe what matters isn't genere, but how a game challenges you to see the world in a new way. The best games do something fresh. They make good use of your time as a player. They move your heart. And they're fun!
That's what "games that make you think" means to me!
